A bit about myself:

Everyone likes to know a little bit about someone they will be doing business with...  is he experienced, does he know what's he doing in the case of MY property, can he get the job done?

Those are fair questions... so a bit about myself.  I grew up on a dairy farm in Michigan, bailed alfalfa from sun up to sun down, along with planting and harvesting 2000 acres of corn each year.  Dairy is tough, cows need to be milked twice a day, 7 days a week.  I've probably delivered over a thousand calves in my life... and lost a few which was always tough to take.

We bred quarters too... and took in some retired racers... my favorite as a kid was this old mare that I rode (ha, walked) everywhere bareback... she knew her way to the stream and back by simply saying "Let's go to the stream.."  Great way for a kid to grow up. We need to preserve that lifestyle!

Well, I did the college thing... 3 degrees: business, computer science and mechanical engineering... Founded a computer firm in Florida, specializing in medical, and after 17 years sold out to WebMD.  Knew I needed to get back to the country, farming, horses, the old fashioned way of life, and dealing with honest people where a handshake still meant something.  I also like people that are good to their animals, still cross their heart when the national anthem is played, support our soldiers and fly the American flag proudly.  That's who I am, and who I like to do business with...

I'll make sure we do good business, I will earn every dollar you pay
me.  I'm sharp, I check all the details, I will have your back.  If I don't
know something, I'll be sure to call in an expert in that area, and we'll
make sure you get the right information.  Something like the production
of water in a well can be the difference in tens of thousands of dollars...
You need an agent that is experienced in land and ranch properties!
Too often I see city agents list ranches.  Even if the property is in the
city, there may be a well agreement, zoning rules or deed restrictions
that standard residential agents don't know about or how they affect
your properties value... so in the end, guess who loses... not them.

Selling horse property takes a lot more work than simply putting the
listing into the local MLS!  Often a ranch I sell is through a connection
at the local feed store or a local roping event, or through a friend on a
trail ride.

I represent Buyers and Sellers of horse property, ranches and land. It's what I love, and the majority of my business.  I do have associates that take care of "in town" residential properties.  But for the most part, I'm always on horse property.   It's important to know that I'm a full time agent, I don't just dabble in real estate.  I love to work and I'll do a great job for you.

I am a Broker and Associate Agent, which means I have the training to open my own firm. I choose to stay with Tierra Antigua Realty as they have a reputation second to none, and that's how I do business as well. We are a good fit.

With my 17 years experience in the computer field, handling millions of dollars in confidential transactions, (negotiating for hospitals), I have honed my business skills.  I also hold a nationwide CNE designation, (certified in negotiating).  As a real estate agent, my duties are very similar in scope, but instead of hospitals, I'm helping people with their largest investment, their property.  Now more than ever, you need someone that has experience, that's creative, that can structure the Purchase Agreement or Contract for Sale that satisfies both the Buyer and the Seller.

I also have experience in structuring Owner Carrybacks, Land Contracts and other ways of making the sale possible in these trying times.

We start this whole process by you simply making a call to me... Let's talk!

  I'll earn your business.

  Thank you.
